Wrak Statku West Star plaża Ulinia-Sarbsk

   Wrak statku "West Star" to unikalna atrakcja dla miłośników nurkowania i historii. Znajduje w okolicy plaży między miejscowościami Ulinia a Sarbsk, na obszarze Mierzei Sarbskiej. Jest to zatopiony statek, który stał się atrakcyjnym miejscem do nurkowania.

 

   Wrak statku "West Star" nie jest widoczny nad powierzchnią wody, dziś z daleka można dostrzec jedynie dwa wystające maszty.

 

   Historia statku sięga roku 1970 kiedy to osiadł na mieliźnie podczas sztormu w okolicy Ulinii. Było to spowodowane awarią silnika oraz nabieraniem wody poprzez silny przechył statku. Jeszcze kilka dni próbowano ratować jednostkę, jednak po ewakuacji wszystkich członków załogi, pozostawiono go w tym miejscu.
