   Pozostałości po budowie Elektrowni Jądrowej Żarnowiec to ślady historyczne związane z ambitnym projektem budowy elektrowni jądrowej, który miał miejsce w latach 80. XX wieku, a dokładnie w latach 1982-1989. Planowana elektrownia jądrowa miała być jednym z symboli rozwoju energetyki jądrowej w Polsce.

 

   Pozostałości po budowie tej elektrowni znajdują się w miejscu dawnej wsi Kartoszyno nad Jeziorem Żarnowieckim -  z siedzibą w Nadolu.

 

   Chociaż budowa Elektrowni Jądrowej Żarnowiec została przerwana wskutek zmian politycznych po 1989 roku i przyczyn ekonomicznych, licznych protestów lokalnej społeczności i aktywistów, pozostałości po tym projekcie są nadal obecne w krajobrazie. Są to nieukończone konstrukcje, zaplanowane infrastruktury, które stanowią ciekawe świadectwo przeszłych dążeń do wykorzystania energii jądrowej.

   Teren nie jest dostępny dla zwiedzających.
