Park Miniatur Zamków Krzyżackich Chełmno

      Park Miniatur Zamków Krzyżackich w Chełmnie, zlokalizowany w Parku Pamięci i Tolerancji im. dr. Rydygiera, sąsiaduje z dawnymi murami obronnymi miasta. W parku znajduje się dziewięć miniatur zamków krzyżackich, w tym z Radzynia Chełmińskiego, Bierzgłowa, Grudziądza, Papowa Biskupiego, Kurzętnika, Rogóźna, Torunia, Pokrzywna oraz zamek wysoki w Malborku. Modele zostały wykonane w skali 1:30, dokładnie odwzorowując oryginalne budowle.

 

      Park przybliża historię Ziemi Chełmińskiej, gdzie w XIII wieku zakon krzyżacki wzniósł liczne zamki. Wiele z nich, niestety, nie dotrwało do dzisiejszych czasów, ponieważ przez wieki ich kamień i cegły wykorzystywano do innych budów. Stworzenie wiernych modeli wymagało szczegółowej analizy różnorodnych materiałów historycznych.
