Muzeum Stutthof - Niemiecki nazistowski obóz koncentracyjny i zagłady Stutthof Sztutowo

      Muzeum Stutthof w Sztutowie to miejsce upamiętniające niemiecki nazistowski obóz koncentracyjny, który istniał w latach 1939-1945. Zlokalizowane na obszarze około 20 hektarów, muzeum obejmuje część dawnego obozu, w tym Stary Obóz, komorę gazową, komendanturę z garażami, ogrody warzywne, szklarnię, rekonstrukcje krematoriów, pola Nowego Obozu, Obozu Żydowskiego i monumentalny pomnik autorstwa Wiktora Tołkina.

 

    Muzeum przechowuje bogate archiwa poobozowe i prezentuje stałą wystawę główną, a także organizuje wystawy czasowe.


     Jako jednostka podporządkowana Ministrowi Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego, pełni funkcję "organizatora" Muzeum. Od 23 kwietnia 2018 r. pełna nazwa instytucji brzmi "Muzeum Stutthof w Sztutowie. Niemiecki nazistowski obóz koncentracyjny i zagłady (1939-1945)".
