Muzeum Regionalne w Krasnymstawie

Muzeum Regionalne w Krasnymstawie zostało założone w 1958 roku i dysponuje zbiorami liczącymi około 10 000 eksponatów. Kolekcja obejmuje działy takie jak archeologia, historia numizmatyki, sztuka dawna, etnografia oraz chmielarstwo i piwowarstwo.

Inicjatorem powstania muzeum był Józef Nikodem Kłosowski, który już w latach 30. XX wieku próbował zorganizować placówkę w szkole rolniczej. Po wojnie i kilku nieudanych próbach, przełom nastąpił w 1957 roku, kiedy to Zygmunt Tokarzewski z pomocą regionalistów zgromadził pierwsze eksponaty. Muzeum mieści się w kolegium pojezuickim, które zyskało nowoczesne aranżacje i obecnie zajmuje 23 sale o powierzchni ponad 2000 m².
