Muzeum Kresów i Ziemi Ostrowskiej

      Muzeum Kresów i Ziemi Ostrowskiej to prywatna placówka mieszcząca się w Ostrowi Mazowieckiej, w budynku Hotelu 17. Hotel ten został zlokalizowany w dawnym niemieckim spichlerzu wojennym zbudowanym w 1941 roku, który służył do zaopatrzenia frontu wschodniego. Muzeum zostało otwarte w grudniu 2013 roku w obecności m.in. historyka Adama Dobrońskiego i przedstawicieli polskich organizacji na Białorusi.

      Początkowo muzeum nosiło nazwę Muzeum Garnizonu i Ziemi Ostrowskiej, jednak po kilku wizytach na Białorusi zmieniono ją na Muzeum Kresów i Ziemi Ostrowskiej. Stała ekspozycja muzeum koncentruje się na historii jednostek wojskowych stacjonujących w powiecie ostrowskim od XIX wieku do współczesności. Część zbiorów pochodzi z kolekcji Andrzeja Mierzwińskiego, lokalnego krajoznawcy i pasjonata historii.
