Filharmonia Zielonogórska

     Filharmonia Zielonogórska to renomowana placówka kulturalna w Zielonej Górze, która działa jako filharmonia od 1974 roku i opiera się na orkiestrze symfonicznej założonej już w 1956 roku. Filharmonia nosi imię Tadeusza Bairda, wybitnego polskiego kompozytora. Posiada dwie sale koncertowe: Salę FZ z widownią na 200 osób w zabytkowym budynku z 1900 roku oraz Salę MCM w nowej siedzibie z 2004 roku, Międzynarodowe Centrum Muzyczne „Wschód-Zachód”, które może pomieścić 400 osób.


     Wydarzeniem roku w Filharmonii są Międzynarodowe Spotkania Muzyczne „Wschód - Zachód”, organizowane w marcu w różnych miastach po obu stronach polsko-niemieckiej granicy.
